Notching

For variable bending

Bending with transverse imprints

The bending is achieved through a series of transversal impressions on the corrugated sheets (notches) that produce a series of folds at regular/variable pitch.

The impressions are designed and made to allow a correct absorption of the material stresses due to deformation, without loss of rigidity of the corrugated element. The sequence, angular incidence, and pitch between the notches determine the value of the bending radius, which can be constant along the entire length of the sheet or variable in the different sections along this length.

Lavorazione Di Tacchettatura

The notching can be concentrated on one or more parts of the length, resulting in particular shapes that are mixed curved/straight or with irregular bending.
The curved sheets thus obtained are mainly used in the construction of roofing with a regular or irregular curved section, with a cusp, with “Y-beams”, etc.. Processing available on the following profiles:

  • SAND 20
  • SAND 28
  • SAND 35
  • SAND38
  • SAND 40/200
  • SAND 40/250
  • SAND A55 P600

Constant/variable radius:
on request from 300 mm on SAND 20 and SAND 28 profiles
